What I wear is determined by whether or not my legs are shaved and/or if I have the energy to shave them.
I may be in pants for a while.

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Apparently I didn’t have a milder version of what Catherine had. I am horribly sick. Went to the doctor yesterday after suffering all weekend and left with a script for über-antibiotics. Takeaway words: mini-tonsils and pus. I’m not going any further on the details. It’s grody.
I totally need soup. And either Warcraft or Little Big Planet. Or a cool action movie.
Speaking of action movies. I love Demolition Man. LOVE IT. Can’t get enough of it. If it’s on, I’m watching it. Enhance your calm, John Spartan.
I think I’m coming down with a milder version of what Cat had. Thank god I don’t have tonsils, cause then I think it’d be worse. But I’m feeling icky and want to get back into bed and rest.
The only consolation I have is that I look rockin’ cute today. Adorable retro heels and a black/red plaid pencil skirt.
Meh. I may feel terrible, but I look fabulous.
I may wear cheap shoes, but I do not wear cheap fragrance. I’ve always had a few bottles of something on my dresser - from childhood through the present. Now that I’m older and have the means (occasionally), I’m having a blast!
My core collection is mainly from Creed. 2000 Flowers, Love in White, and my most favorite scent ever, Angélique Encens. These seem to cover whatever mood or season I’m in at the time.
I did have the opportunity to try a sample of Wode by Boudicca. Wow. The first impression I got was you really have to be confident with yourself to wear this. It layers wonderfully and as it wears, different scents emerge.
But seriously, I felt like I wanted to slap my breast with my broadsword as I charged off into battle. But I didn’t cause I’m at work and there’s a no bare bewbie policy.
Yep. She’s sick. In addition to the flu, Cat has some kind of throat infection. The docs gave her 10 days antibiotics, which should knock the hell out of whatever she has since she rarely needs or takes antibiotics. I think the fever may have broke since last night when I went to get her meds at 2 am (omg - 2 am) she didn’t feel warm and was resting comfortably. Woohoo.
So I’m back at work to rest up. Hopefully I can grab a nap a lunchtime.
I’m so glad Glenn is home. It’s hard not having him close when she’s sick. I tend to second guess and wind myself up without having his sounding board available. Now he’s home I can rest my mind for a bit.
Catherine is still sick. Every time the fever reducing meds wear off her fever climbs back up to 102-103. We’re going to the doctor.
